The varsity cheer team and the junior varsity cheer team both placed in the top three at the Universal Cheerleaders Association’s National High School Cheerleading Championship. The varsity team won gold and the jv team won bronze.
“You are going to be labeled as a national champion for the rest of your lives,” he told the varsity team. “This takes it to a national level. We will be known all over the country, and hopefully it will elevate all of our programs to go in that direction. Thank you for setting the tone on that.
